Privacy Policy

NoRep uses your device camera and pose detection to count and judge reps in real time. All processing happens locally on your device: camera frames are analysed on the fly and are never sent to us or to third parties.

Any video recordings you choose to save stay in your phone's gallery, under your control: you decide whether to keep, delete or share them. NoRep does not upload them to any server.

The app requires no account and collects no personal profile data. Rep judging, WODs and the HIIT timer all work without an internet connection: the only feature that uses the network is the map your runs are drawn on.

To function, the app requests camera access and, to record your workout, screen-recording and gallery-saving permissions; to track runs it requests location access. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings: without location, everything else in the app keeps working.

You are responsible for the content of the videos you record, including the consent of any other people filmed.

When you start a run, NoRep uses your device's GPS to compute distance, time, pace and route. Location is only read during the run session: as soon as you close it, tracking stops.

The track (the coordinates of the recorded points and their timestamps) and the run's numbers are saved in the app's local history, on your device. They are not sent to us or to any third party: you can delete them by removing the entry from the history or by uninstalling the app.

So that tracking doesn't stop when the screen goes off or the app moves to the background, on Android the app shows a persistent notification for the duration of the run, and on iOS it uses the background location mode. Location is never used while you're not running, and the app does not request background location access for any other purpose.

To draw the map under your route, the app downloads map tiles from OpenStreetMap's servers (OpenStreetMap Foundation). As with any web request, that provider receives the device's IP address and the map area being requested; your track is not sent to them and stays on the device. If you're offline the run is still recorded, simply without the background map.

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you enter, together with the site language and the signup date, for the sole purpose of notifying you when NoRep is available on the stores. The legal basis is your consent.

To manage these messages we may use third-party service providers (e.g. a form-collection or email service) that process the data on our behalf as processors. We do not sell or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

We keep the email as long as it is useful for that purpose (until launch and the related communications) or until you ask for its deletion. You can request removal at any time by writing to appnorep@gmail.com.

The website is hosted on Vercel. Like any web service, the infrastructure may record technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time) to ensure security, operation and abuse prevention. These logs are processed by the hosting provider as a processor.

The website uses no profiling cookies and no third-party tracking or analytics tools.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, request its deletion or restriction, object to processing and request portability. To exercise these rights, write to appnorep@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

NoRep is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 14. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy over time. The most recent version will always be published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.
