On-device AI · no wearable

The judge that lets no rep slide.

norep uses your camera and pose detection to count and validate every rep in real time. Squat too high? Missed the lockout? No rep. Like competition day - in your pocket.

How it works

Three steps. Zero excuses.

No gadgets, no fiddly calibration. Just the phone that's already in your pocket.

01

Prop it up and frame

Set the phone to the side and frame your whole body. An on-screen guide tells you when you're in the right spot.

02

The AI judges you

Pose detection tracks 33 body points and grades depth, range and lockout on every rep, dozens of times per second.

03

Valid or No Rep

Only clean reps make the count. Instant voice feedback and on-screen overlay, just like a real competition judge.

What it does

A tireless judge, always with you

Everything you need to train to the same standard as competition day.

Real-time judging

Every rep is validated against real standards: squat depth, overhead lockout, chest to the floor on burpees.

AI pose detection

33 keypoints tracked on-device with AI. No sensors, no wearables - just your camera.

Voice feedback

'Valid' or 'No rep' out loud while you train, in English or Italian, so you never have to take your eyes off the movement.

Record your WOD

Save the session video with the counter and overlay, ready to review or share.

History & progress

Exercises, WODs, HIIT sessions and runs all land in one history: valid reps, no-reps, distance and pace, so you can see where to improve.

Absolute privacy

All processing runs on your device. Your videos never leave your phone.

The concept

What is a “no rep”?

In functional training a rep only counts if it meets the movement standard. Hip above the knee, arms not locked, chest not touching: no rep. norep applies the same yardstick, frame by frame, with no distractions and no favouritism.

Modes

Four ways to train

One movement at a time or a full WOD, timed intervals or kilometres on the road. Same app, same standards.

Single exercise

Camera

Pick a movement and train with the live judge: count, depth and no-reps in real time.

  • 16 judged exercises
  • For reps or for time (plank)
  • On-screen overlay and voice

Build a WOD

WOD

Combine several exercises into one workout: norep counts, judges and keeps the clock round after round.

  • Rounds for time (RFT) with a time cap
  • AMRAP and EMOM
  • Run legs included

HIIT / Tabata

Timer

An interval timer with prep, work, rest and cycles. No camera involved: the work blocks are yours to fill.

  • Tabata 20/10, 30/30, 40/20 presets
  • Custom rounds, cycles and recovery
  • Countdown with voice and sound cues

Run

GPS

The run is measured by GPS, not by the camera: distance, time, average and current pace, with your route on a map when you're done.

  • Distance, time or free-run goal
  • Live pace and GPS signal quality
  • Keeps tracking with the screen off
Library

16 judged exercises, plus the run

From functional-fitness and cross-training fundamentals to CrossFit- and Hyrox-style competition movements. The camera judges the movements, the GPS measures the run. The library grows with every update.

Questions

Quick answers

How does norep judge reps?
It uses AI pose detection to track 33 body points from your camera. For each exercise it computes angles and range of motion and compares them to the standards: if the rep doesn't meet the standard, it's a no-rep.
Do my videos go online?
No. All processing happens on your device and any recordings stay in your phone's gallery. Nothing is uploaded to a server or the cloud.
Where does my run data go?
It stays on your phone. The GPS track, the distance and the pace live in the app's history and are never uploaded anywhere. To draw the route map the app downloads map tiles from OpenStreetMap: that server sees the request for the map area, not your track, which stays on the device.
Do I need an internet connection?
Judging works fully offline: the camera, the pose detection and the counting never need a network. Runs are recorded by GPS without a connection too; internet is only needed to download the app and to load the map your route is drawn on.
Which devices does it run on?
norep is coming to iOS and Android. Join the waitlist to find out when it lands in your store.
Which exercises does it support?
At launch it judges 16 functional-fitness and cross-training exercises - squat, thruster, wall ball, handstand push-up, toes-to-bar and more - and tracks your run with GPS. Beyond single exercises you can build a WOD (rounds for time, AMRAP, EMOM) or start a HIIT timer. New movements every update.
Does norep track running too?
Yes. The run is the one movement that doesn't go through the camera: the GPS measures it. Pick a distance or time goal, or head out for a free run, and the session shows distance, time, average pace and current pace; when you finish, your route is drawn on a map. Tracking carries on with the screen off, and a run can be one leg of a WOD.
Is there a HIIT or Tabata timer?
Yes. The interval timer is independent of the camera: set prep, work, rest, rounds and cycles, or start from a preset (Tabata 20/10 ×8, 30/30, 40/20). Voice and sound cues call every block change so you don't have to watch the screen, and the session lands in your history with the total work time.
Is norep good for CrossFit and Hyrox?
Yes. norep judges the functional-fitness and cross-training movements you'll find in CrossFit-style workouts and Hyrox-style races - squat, thruster, wall ball, burpee, wall walk and more - and with GPS runs and the interval timer it covers the running legs and the timed work too. norep is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands.
Is it as accurate as a human judge?
norep applies the same criteria consistently, with no distraction or fatigue. As with any judge, good framing (from the side, whole body in view) is the key to top accuracy.
How much does it cost?
It'll be free at launch. Join the waitlist to be among the first to try it.
